William Joseph "Bill" Brucken

William Joseph “Bill” Brucken, age 74, of Rogers, AR, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025.

Bill was born March 6, 1951 in Axtell, Kansas, the son of the late Edwin Frank Brucken and Alvina Agnes (Wessel) Brucken.

Bill proudly served in the United States Air Force. On September 12, 2019 he married Laurie Batusic and she survives. Bill worked for many years as a journeyman mechanic for JB Hunt and Kenworth. He also drove an 18-wheeler for JB Hunt and several other firms. Bill enjoyed restoring vintage cars, boating, sport shooting, tinkering around the house, and driving fast.

He is survived by his loving wife Laurie; a son, Jeff Brucken; a stepson, Luke Nibbe and his wife Amber; grandchildren, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Stacie Brucken, a brother and a sister.

Per Bill’s request, cremation was chosen and a private family gathering planned.
