Willa Belle Willey

Willa Belle Willey, 97, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023, at the Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab Center.

Willa was born on November 25, 1925, in Westville, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Ellis Reese and Artie Jeffries Reese. She married Charles Willey on September 12, 1948, in Reno, Nevada. Willa was a homemaker though she worked for Allen’s Canning Company for several years. She loved taking care of her family and spending time with them.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; three brothers, Jack Reese, Cap Reese and Joe Reese; and two sisters, Jonnie Willard and Pat Snyder.

She is survived by two daughters, Gail Collins, and Jeannie Whitmore and husband Wille; one sister, Betty “Babe” Marshel; six grandchildren, Brian Collins, Brandi Marshall, Kelly Burns, Lacey Adams, Shawn Whitmore and Shayna Whitmore; eight great grandchildren, Corgan, Paul, Kollins, Skylar, Hadden, Gaige, Stormy and Grayson; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.

Visitation will be held 5:00pm-8:00pm, Monday, October 23, 2023, at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, AR.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at New Hope Cemetery near Watts, Oklahoma. Pastor Mike Finley will officiate the service.
