Wayne Terry

Wayne Terry, 68, of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away peacefully September 9, 2024 at the Washington Regional Medical Center.

Wayne was born February 2, 1956 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to the late Alfred “JR” B. Terry and Verla Ford-Terry. He married the love of his life, Valerie Daniel, on August 11, 1983 in Huntsville, Arkansas and shared many loving memories together. He enjoyed working for the Springdale Street Department for 25 years. In his spare time, you could find him playing softball, watching any sports especially basketball, fishing local waters, and above all, he cherished his family. 

He is survived by his beloved wife, Valerie Terry; 2 daughters, Deesa Arancibia and husband, Sergio, April Behar and husband, Jason; 1 brother, Mark Terry; 2 sisters, Marline Terry and Carline Terry; 6 grandchildren, Evan Hinchliffe, Shey Hinchliffe, Cambria Arancibia, Ian Arancibia, Audrey Behar, and Jackson Behar; numerous nieces, nephews, and many other loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, LaDarr Smith.

The visitation for Wayne will be held at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale, Arkansas on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 6:00PM-8:00PM.

The funeral service will be held at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale, Arkansas on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 2:00PM. Burial will follow the service at Zion Cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas.
