Wanda Faye Arnold

Wanda Faye Arnold, 76, of Colcord, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on January 23, 2024 at Circle of Life Hospice Care in Springdale, Arkansas.

Wanda was born May 31, 1947 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to parents William Bill and Christine Mitchell. She married Delbert Arnold on March 10, 1965 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. They shared an amazing 51 years of married life together before his passing. Throughout her life she was a hard worker and was devoted to her family. Her family will remember her mischievous spirit, and her ability to always make those around her smile and laugh. She loved children, playing cards, listening to music, and dancing with her husband every Friday night before his passing. She was also locally known for making the best biscuits around.

She is survived by one son, Stacy Arnold and wife Tina of Watts, OK; one daughter, Rhonda Smith, of Colcord, OK; one sister, Rosemary Aragon; eight grandchildren, Summer Smith and partner Alex, Blake Smith, Montana Smith, Shannon Arnold and wife Dana, Jake Arnold, Zach Arnold and wife Crysta, Dillion Arnold, and Billy Arnold and wife Elysia; fourteen great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Marstella, Stirling, Kaisley, Henry, Emmett, Ruby, Lucas, Jacob, Adin, Joseph, Bentley, Araya and Damon; and many more loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Christine Mitchell; her husband, Delbert; one sister, Betty-Lou Martin; and one brother, Eugene Mitchell.

Pallbearers are Stacy Arnold, Shannon Arnold, Zach Arnold, Dillion Arnold, Billy Arnold, Montana Smith, and Ronald Ross.

A Visitation will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The Graveside service will be held Friday, January 27, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Bell Cemetery in Watts, Oklahoma.
