Van Duc Nguyen

Van Duc Nguyen, age 70, of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022, at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, AR. Van was born on June 10, 1952, in Rach Gia, Vietnam, one of the nine children of Han Van Nguyen and Tram Thi Truong.

Van was retired from the University of Arkansas Facilities Management department. Van enjoyed talking and visiting with his adult children, surfing the internet, watching videos online, reading scriptures, building electrical gadgets, woodworking, playing his guitar and singing.

Van is survived by his wife, Tonya Le; his four adult children, Tim Nguyen, Tina Nguyen, Antony Nguyen, Lo Ann Emonts Nguyen; and a granddaughter Naruko Jasmine Emonts.

Van was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Van’s wishes cremation rites were chosen.
