Teresa Gail Roberts

Teresa Gail Roberts, 72, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at the Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Arkansas.

 Teresa was born June 12, 1952 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to LeRoy, who many knew as Skeet, and Margaret Rider. On November 17, 1972, she married the love of her life, Larry Roberts, who preceded her in death in 2010. Teresa took strides in improving the community of Siloam Springs when she was on the initial board of directors for Genesis House. She was also a successful mortgage loan officer and served as president of the Northwest Arkansas Mortgage Bankers. Teresa loved her family and took great pride in her grandchildren. She was also an outstanding cook, and no one ever left her house hungry. In her personal time, she enjoyed bowling.

 Teresa is survived by two daughters, Laura Roberts of Siloam Springs, AR, and Amanda Pennington and husband James of Columbia, MO; one brother-in-law, Garry Roberts of Tahlequah, OK; one sister-in-law, Jo Ann Dearman of Stilwell, OK; and three grandchildren, Brenden Pennington, Hayley Pennington, and Logan Scherrey.

 She is preceded in death by her parents, Skeet and Margaret Rider, and one brother, Mike Rider.

 Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
