Steven E Church

Steven Eugene Church, 60, of Siloam Springs, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at his home.

Steve was born on July 25, 1956 in Watsonville, CA, a son of Nathan A. Church and Oneta Davis Church. Steve served honorable in the U.S. Navy and was a disabled Naval Veteran. He was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed all sports. He was a knife collector who loved a sharp knife and was always “fidgeting” with a pet project.

Steve is survived by his father, Nathan Church of Farmington; two sons, Ryan Church of Lincoln and Chris Church; three brothers, Mervin Church and wife Elaine of Siloam Springs, Stanley Church and wife Carolyn of Siloam Springs, and Mitch Church and wife Carolyn of Fayetteville; and one granddaughter, Tailynn Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Oneta Church.

Visitation will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

Funeral services will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 10:00am. Pastor Tim Estes will officiate the service. Burial will be held at 2:00pm at the Fayetteville National Cemetery with Military honors.  Arrangements are entrusted to Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
