Scotty Eugene Cooper, age 45, of Gentry, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025 at home.
Scotty was born February 2, 1980, to parents Michael and Donna Cooper in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. A beautiful soul taken far too soon. In his life, he was a very hard worker that could do anything he put his mind to. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and hunting, and was very proud of his Creek Indian heritage. He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends, going on adventures, and spending time with his son. He was a family man, always taking care of and looking out for those around him. He made sure they all knew how loved and important they were. Most of all, he loved his son Grasin, who was the pride of his life. He will be missed by all around the campfire.
He is survived by his son, Grasin Zander Cooper of Lowell, Arkansas; mother, Donna Cooper of Gentry, Arkansas; godfather, Oid Hankins and wife Tina of Arkansas; step-brother, Keith Hankins of Arkansas; best friend, Travis and wife Teri of Gentry, Arkansas; countless friends he grew up with; and family friend, Tammie Runyan and husband Bill, who thought of Scotty as a son.
He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Cooper.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. To sign the online guestbook, please visit www.backstrom-pyeatte.com.
