Sandra McLeod

Sandra Kay McLeod, 70, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the Willard Walker Hospice House in Fayetteville.

Sandra was born on September 23, 1954, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was the daughter of J.D. Johnson and Shirley Smith Johnson. She married Terry McLeod on October 3, 1975, in Springdale. Sandra had worked several jobs in the past including Ryan’s Department Store, Baldwin Piano, Brewers Cleaners and had driven delivering auto parts. She enjoyed crafting including sewing, building, woodworking, and had done upholstery at one time. She was an accomplished self-taught pianist and was known for her sense of humor. Sandra loved her dogs, Maggie and Layla. She was a member of the Wedington United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father J.D. Johnson.

She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Terry of the home; one son, Chistopher McLeod and wife Gina of Springdale; her mother, Shirley Johnson of Weddington; two brothers, Jack Johnson and wife Diana of Summers, and Jon Johnson and wife Lynn of Weddington; one sister, Brenda McLeod and husband Randy of Marysville, Washington; three grandchildren, Austin Jones, Aschlyn Jones and Brittany Weathers; along with many other family members and friends.
