Rosie Hathorn, 58, of Springdale, AR passed away Friday, August 25, 2017 at the Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Rosie was born on June 21, 1959 in Boise, Idaho, a daughter of Frank Garcia and Mary Martinez Garcia. She married Larry Hathorn on August 8, 2004 in Springdale. Rosie was a homemaker who loved family time and big cookouts. She enjoyed cooking, going camping, fishing swimming, watching the Price is Right, Western Shows, and the Ellen DeGeneres Show, posting on Facebook and discovering new recipes. Rosie was a patient at the Divita Dialysis in Springdale for 12 years, where she became a part of another family.
She is survived by her husband Larry Hathorn of the home; one son, Steven Moore of Springdale; four daughters, Sylavia Jacobi and husband Mike of Ocala, FL, Teresa Moore of Bentonville, Stephanie Elsey of Bentonville and Lynn McCall and husband Joey of Rogers; two brothers, Joe Leal of Springdale, and Lupe Garcia and wife Tammy of Fayetteville; three sisters, Janie Rogers and husband Tommy of Springdale, Teela Garcia and R. D. Garrett of Bella Vista, and Cindy Gaspeny of Rogers, AR; a brother in law, Ronnie Hathorn of Elm Springs; sister in law Connie Rogers of Springdale; fifteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; twelve nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel in Springdale from 5:00-8:00pm.
Graveside serrvices will be held 10:00am on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the Wilson Cemetery in Springdale. Pastor Kelly Yarbough to officiate the funeral service under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale.. To sign the online guest book, visit www.backstrom-pyeatte.com.
