Robert Wayne Barber

Robert Wayne Barber, 55, of Gentry, Arkansas passed away at his home on Friday, July 10, 2020.

Robert was born on June 17, 1965 in Manila, Arkansas, a son of Robert Barber and Willie Hawkins Barber. Robert had worked several jobs including for Black and Decker before his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, all sports especially Alabama Crimson Tide, the Celtics, Duke University, and the Patriots.

He is survived by five daughters, Jamie Barber of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Michelle Walker and husband Garrick of Grove, Oklahoma, Christina Barber, Mandy Barber and Kelsey Barber all of Gentry; one brother, Anthony Ditto of Siloam Springs; one sister, Janet James and husband Jason of Highfill; five grandchildren, Lilly Lopez, Jordan Barber, Thomas Walker, Jaron Terrapin and Glen Walker; and a special friend, De Ann Linn of Gentry.

The visitation will be held Friday, July 17, 2020 from 10:00am-12:30pm at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, AR. The graveside service will be held following the visitation on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 1:00pm at Gentry Cemetery.  For the visitation, guests will be required to wear their own facemask, per guidelines set forth by the State of Arkansas.
