Rhonda Kay Childers

Rhonda Kay Childers, 42, of Colcord, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Siloam Springs Regional Hospital.

Rhonda was born July 3, 1975 in Hugoton, Kansas to JC and Debbie Mouse. She married William Joseph Childers on July 11, 1998 who precedes her in death. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends especially with her kids, fishing, mudding, camping, and working outside. Rhonda will always be remembered for being a very sweet, kind, loving person. She could make anyone laugh and make anyone feel at home around her. To some, she was the missing puzzle piece that completed them.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Debbie and Floyd Mouse of Colcord, OK; her father, JC Mouse and wife Zella of Colcord, OK; her son, Jesse Childers and wife Ashley of the home, their children Jayson “Baby J”, Aiden, Kingston, Kolby, and Kadence; 2 daughters, Sadie Childers and husband Michael Hopper, their son Riley, and Ieshia Childers of the home; 3 brothers, Jacob Mouse of Decatur, AR, Jason Williamson of Maysville, AR, and Rodney Mouse of Colcord, OK; 6 sisters, Angela Parra of Colcord, OK, Jennifer Anderson of Decatur, AR, Kelly Fitts of Chewey, OK, Shelby Haggard of Jay, OK, Sheila Wiser of Jay, Ok, and Becky Nipps of Kansas, OK. Rhonda is also survived by numerous loved ones and friends.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home’s chapel on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 6pm-8pm.

The funeral service will be held at the Church of Christ in Colcord, OK on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 2:00pm. Pastor Michael Ellis will officiate the service with burial being held at Dry Creek Cemetery under the directions of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, AR.
