Ralph Wilburn Cole

Ralph Wilburn Cole, 87, of Monett, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.

Ralph was born on September 29, 1936, in Alsuma, Oklahoma. He was the son of Wilburn Baker Cole and Ethel Jane Walton Cole. Ralph was a very skilled laborer and had worked in many different occupations including construction, carpentry, Boing Aircraft, and as an electrician. He was an accomplished musician, playing Violin and Fiddle, and loved going to music festivals in the surrounding area. He also loved going to the racetrack, rebuilding race cars and enjoyed hunting.

He is survived by his sweetheart Connie Burnett of the home; his children, Ralph and Melissa Cole of Elm Springs, Wilburn and Linda Cole of Centerton, Sharon and Bert Birge of Centerton, Karen and Joe Jouett of Centerton, and Flora and Henry Holley of Pea Ridge; step children Pearl Burnett of Monett, Jimmy Burnett of Monett and Ana Bell Burnett of Billings, Missouri; his twin brother Richard Cole of Reed Springs, Missouri; twenty two grandchildren, forty six great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Ed, Jimmy, Marvin, Virgil and Carl, and six sisters, Laura “Alice”, Beulah, Della, Betty, Vera and Barbara.

Family and Friends will gather for a visitation at the White Oak Cemetery on Tuesday, September 24,2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00am. Graveside funeral service will follow at 11:00am. Pastor Issac Holder will officiate the service.
