Phyllis Jean Golden, 67, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.
Phyllis is preceded in death by both her parents Clifford Thomas & Lydia Helen Ames (Bayless) and three brothers, Darrell Ames, Ronnie Ames and Eddie Ames. Phyllis is survived by her brother Dale (and wife Sandy) Ames and her sisters Sandra Hilton, Brenda Black (and husband Keith) and Glenda Wray (and husband Steve). Phyllis also had. many nephews & nieces that she cherished & loved.
Phyllis was a parent to three children: Kelly (and husband Gary) Holtgrewe, Kim (and husband Lance) Osbourn and Brandon (and wife Misty) Morgan. She was a proud Grandmother to 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Phyllis was born December 18, 1956 in Siloam Springs, AR. She was a lifetime resident of the Northeast Oklahoma area. She graduated from Watts High School. Phyllis spent the majority of her adult life as a health care worker in the area. Phyllis lived her life devoted to the Lord. Strong in her faith, she completed multiple mission trips to Peru, Mexico & Israel where she soaked in all of the spiritual knowledge related to her walk with the Lord. She also enjoyed hanging out with her family and a competitive game of cards.
Phyllis continually covered her family & friends in prayer and we know she will continue to cover us and guide from above. She will be greatly missed.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 10:00 am, at Bell Cemetery in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma. Logan Shelley will be officiating.
Arrangements were entrusted to Backstrom-Pyeatte of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
