Phyllis Anderson

Phyllis Wilkinson Anderson, 89, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the House of Three in Rogers, Arkansas.

Phyllis was born on August 20, 1928, in Nowata, Oklahoma, a daughter of the late Roy Wilkinson and Dixie (Kirk) Wilkinson.  She was a member of the Gideon’s Auxiliary and a proud homemaker.  She will be remembered for her generosity. 

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin “Andy” Anderson and four siblings. 

She is survived by her three children, Rodney Anderson of Springdale, Arkansas, Becky Richardson of Dallas, Texas and Rick Anderson and wife Kathy of Jacksboro, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Jeremy Ray, Jessica Hagen and Addi Anderson. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale, Arkansas at 5:00pm-7:00pm.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00am at the Fellowship Bible Church in Springdale on Thursday, March 29, 2018 with Pastor John Glaser to officiate the service.  Graveside service will be held that day at 1:00pm at the Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
