Michael Ray Morris

Michael Ray Morris, 60, of Springdale, AR., passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at his residence in Springdale, AR.

Mike was born on April 13.1961, in Springdale, AR, the son of Donald “Don” Ray and Mamie Marie (Johnson) Morris.

Mike graduated from Duluth High School in Duluth, GA, where he excelled as a pitcher for the high school baseball team.
After working 12 years at Standard Register, Mike started operation of his own commercial lawn-care business, which he ran for more than 2 decades. He loved his work, but was excited to enjoy more and more time off as he was in the process of retiring. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, canoeing, bicycling and back-yard farming. He was loved by all whom knew him.
Mike is survived by his mother, Mamie Marie Morris; two sons, Brandon Morris and his wife Kim, Andrew Morris and his wife Dana; 2 step children, Alisha Wood, Nicole DeWoody and her husband Caleb; a sister Linda Caughman and her husband Dan; 6 grandchildren, Gillian, Jayden, Addi, Michael, Maverick and Rivers; nephew Stephen Garner, niece Suzanne Bennett and husband Brian; and several cousins and extended family.

Mike is preceded in death by his father Don.
