Melba Jean Hannah

Melba Jean Hannah, age 91, of Lowell, AR, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Melba was born on October 24, 1932, in Westville, Oklahoma the daughter of the late Ernest Snyder and Phoebe (Morris) Snyder.

On December 15, 1956 Melba married Bobby Gene “Bob” Hannah and he preceded her in death on May 4, 2020.

Melba was a homemaker and housewife and loved her family and doing for others. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lowell, she loved gardening, flowers, and homemaking. Melba was known for her wonderful cooking, especially her pies. Melba had also volunteered at the Springdale Hospital and served several years as a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts.

Melba is survived by her sons; Michael (Geneva) Hannah of Rogers, and Tony Hannah of Springdale; brothers, Bill Snyder (Patty), and Dale Snyder (Margie); a sister Betty Christian; 2 grandchildren, Matt Hannah of Rogers and Sally Hannah of Land O Lakes, Florida; and a great grandson Avery Hannah;and a sister-in-law-and brother-in-law Gweenece & Robert Russell.

Melba was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, O J Snyder and George “Fuzz” Snyder and a sister Geraldine Sloan.

A private family graveside service will be held for Melba.
