Lisa Dawn Phifer, 51, of Watts, Oklahoma passed away on February 4, 2018 at the Siloam Springs Regional Hospital.
Lisa was born on June 18, 1966 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to John Ray and Alpha Phifer. She was a devoted elementary school teacher, she enjoyed outdoors, she was an animal lover, and she loved to cheer on the OU Sooners.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers; 1 sister; 1 cousin and her grandparents.
Lisa is survived by her children, Josef Phifer of Colcord, Oklahoma and Maddie Phifer of Checotah, Oklahoma; five siblings, Jeff Phifer of Watts, Ok, Troy Phifer and wife Christie of Watts, Oklahoma, Bobby Phifer and wife April of Adair, Oklahoma, Debbie Guthrie and husband Tommy of Colcord, Oklahoma and Annie Phifer of Watts, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Lowery Freewill Baptist Church near Twin Oaks, Oklahoma with Pastor Sam Andrews to officiate the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to your local animal shelter.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, AR.
