Laurie Schmitz

Laurie Schmitz, 57, of Decatur, Arkansas passed away, Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Mercy Hospital of Rogers, Arkansas.

Laurie was born August 20, 1963 in Bronx, New York. She served proudly for the United Sates Army. On May 28, 2005 she married the loved of her life, Bill Schmitz at Faith Bible Church in Gravette, Arkansas. She was a committed Christian, loyal wife, and active patriot.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Schmitz of the home; sister, Krysta Wallrauch of Cincinnati, OH; mother-in-law, Linda Schmitz of Gravette, AR; sister-in-law, Donna Schmitz of Gravette, AR; and many other loved ones.

A Celebration of Laurie’s Life will be held 2:00pm, Thursday, July8, 2021 at Covenant Church of Siloam Springs, AR. Pastor Tad Thompson will officiate the service.
