Larry Wayne Layne

Larry Wayne Layne, 76, of Jay, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Larry was born September 5, 1946 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. His father, Russell Layne and step mother, Opal Layne raised him to be a hard worker. This demeanor would lead him to be a dedicated employee of Franklin Electric for 33 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hauling hay, cutting wood, working the farm, being a jokester, but most of all, he loved to visit.

He is survived by his son, Shane Layne and wife, Janene of Jay, Oklahoma; stepson, George Hill; stepdaughter, Amy Hill; 6 grandkids, Brandon Layne, Brent Layne, Colton Hill, Erin Hill, Jasmine Jackson, Nicole Vides and husband, Kevin; 3 great- grandkids, Jordan Woodard, Kaeden Vides, and Elayna Sisk.
