L. G. Douthit

Lindsey George  “L. G.” Douthit, 84, a lifelong resident of Siloam Springs passed away at his home on June 14, 2018.

L.G. was born on February 28, 1934 in Siloam Springs, a son of George Oscar Douthit and Otha Ruth Allen Douthit. He married Stella Jane Doggett on Sept 7, 1961 in Ada, OK. He was a house painter for many years in the Siloam Springs area. He enjoyed reading, gardening and painting pictures. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by one sister, Dott Johnson of Siloam Springs; nine grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Stella; two sons, Danny David Douthit and Mark Everett Douthit; one daughter, Lindsey Christine Douthit; 8 brothers and sisters.
