Josene Glass-Vaughan, 55, of Kansas, Oklahoma passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas.
Josene was born October 12, 1965 in Palo Alto, California to Jesse Glass and Tena Charley-Glass. She worked for the West Siloam Springs Cherokee Casino and will be remembered as the friendliest casino rep. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends. Recently, she enjoyed making mask and donating them to friends, local businesses, and even strangers. She also served her community by being a top blood donor in the local blood drives. Most of all though, she cherished her time with her grandbabies and family.
She is survived by her parents, Jesse and Tena Glass of Kansas, OK; 2 sons, Caleb Vaughan and wife, Christina of Kansas, OK. and Benjamin Vaughan and wife, Melanie of Kansas,OK; 4 daughters, Jessica Gullifer and husband, Clayton of Fort Sill, OK., Kaitlin Vaughan and companion, Christopher Richards of Kansas, OK., Baylee Vaughan and companion, Brenton Burke of Siloam Springs, AR., and Rylee Vaughan of Kansas, OK; 2 brothers, John Glass and wife, Angie of Tahlequah, OK. and Nolan Glass and wife, Clarissa of Kenwood, OK; 13 grandbabies; and many other loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Sarah Glass-Kemble and husband, Ned Kemble SR.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, AR.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Kansas High School Dome in Kansas, OK with Pastor Tim Estes officiating.
Burial will follow at Long Prairie Cemetery in Kansas, OK.
