Jack Shelley

Jack Edward Shelley, 65, passed unexpectedly on July 14th, 2024. He was born March 10th, 1959, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, the eldest son of the late Edward Barto and Reta Faye (Anderson) Shelley. Jack graduated from Colcord High School, class of 1977.

Jack was a free spirit and it showed in everything he done. From his love of driving trucks across the country (and occasionally wrecking them) to riding his motorcycle any time the weather allowed. He loved to gamble too. And anyone who knew him knew that he was up for just about anything. He was loyal, ornery, loved to laugh, and never met a stranger. Jack loved his family and his friends with everything he had. He was proud of the man his son had become. And he was especially proud of his granddaughter Red. He wanted the world for her and I’m sure he still does. He was an outlaw… and a legend and he always will be. His laugh will remain in the hearts of everyone who truly knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barto and Reta Faye.

He is survived by his son, Casey Shelley and his better half, Angela, of Colcord, OK; 3 grandchildren- granddaughters, Briley Shelley and Jaden Wade, and grandson Tanner Wade; his 3 brothers- Jeff Shelley and wife Cyndi of West Siloam Springs, OK; Tracy Shelley and wife Michelle of Tahlequah, OK; Bradley Shelley and wife Angie of Colcord, OK; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
