Harlow Junior McGarrah, 85, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 28, 2020.
Harlow was born on December 17, 1934 in Springdale, Arkansas, son of Edgar McGarrah and Pearl Grizzle McGarrah. He was a widower of the late, Oleta McGarrah, whom he married on September 14, 1953 in Bentonville, Arkansas, and preceded him in death in 2011. Harlow was a dedicated member of the Jesus Name Pentecostal Church. He worked as a farmer and at Benton County Road Department until he retired.
Harlow was also preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Geneva & Jack Bauer of Frisco Springs, AR and one son-in-law, Joe Brown of Springdale, AR.
Harlow is survived by one son Robbi and wife Paula McGarrah of Siloam Springs, AR; two daughters, Deborah Brown of Springdale, AR and Vickie and husband Ken McCormick of Siloam Springs, AR; one sister and brother-in-law, Erma Dean and Arnold Layne of Bentonville, AR; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and many loved ones.
Due to concerns of the COVID Pandemic, the family will hold a private funeral service at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home Chapel in Springdale. Brother Robert Anderson will officiate the service. Burial will be conducted at the Frisco Springs Cemetery in Lowell, AR under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale.
