Gilbert C. Arnold

Gilbert C. Arnold, 74, of Colcord, Oklahoma passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 due to health related complications.

Gilbert was born May 23, 1948 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Alonzo and Ruby (Choate) Arnold. Gilbert was retired from Clarke Industries in Springdale, where he was a line auditor. He was a dedicated asset with 26 years perfect attendance.  He loved playing his guitar everyday and playing solitaire. He read his Bible daily. He also enjoyed being outdoors and loved classic cars. His greatest joy was helping others by being selfless with a heart of gold. 

He is survived by his wife & lifelong best friend Wilma Arnold of Colcord, OK; sons, Steve Gargrave and wife Rhonda of Chouteau, OK, Paul Gargrave of Watts, OK, Dwayne Arnold of West Siloam Springs, OK, and Jackie Arnold of Siloam Springs, AR; daughters; Sheilah Allen of Siloam Springs, AR, Audra Deason and husband Ed of Shell Knob, MO, and Amanda Arnold of Watts, OK; many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo and Ruby Arnold and his son, Rick Arnold.

Gilbert will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Per Gilbert’s wishes cremation rites were chosen. With no services requested at this time.
