Frances L Hudson

Frances Louella Hudson, 81, of Watts, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. 

Frances was born on November 15, 1943, in Lincoln, Arkansas. She was the daughter of George Andrew Wise and Myrtle Lucille Kincheloe Wise. She married Donald L Hudson on August 25, 1962, in Carson City Nevada, who preceded her in death in 2003. Frances worked for Simmons Foods for over 20 years as a Supervisor at Plant #2 before her retirement. She enjoyed camping, putting puzzles together and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren, always holding the family together. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; one daughter, Jackie Wise; one brother, Jimmy Wise; and two sisters, Lois Reading and Joyce Duncan.

She is survived by three sons, Robert Graham and wife Shelly of Healdton, Oklahoma, Donald Eugene Hudson and wife Retha of Westville, Oklahoma, and Steven Hudson and wife Connie of Gravette, Arkansas; two daughters, Ronda Allen and husband Richard of Alfordsville, Indiana, and Connie Parsley and husband Robert of Watts, Oklahoma; two brothers, Eddie and Calvin Wise both of Oregon; six sisters, Erma Beck of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma, Judy Potter of Missouri, Donna Wise of Oregon, Tammy Wise of Little Rock, Arkansas, Debbie Wise of Watts, Oklahoma and Mary Harris of Alfordsville, Indiana; twenty two grandchildren, forty great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; along with a host of other family members and friends. 

A Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 10:00am at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel in Siloam Springs. Pastor Terry Wofford will officiate the service. Burial will be conducted at the Fairmount Cemetery.
