Ethan Ansel Smith

Ethan Ansel Smith, 19, of Gentry, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

Ethan was born on September 9, 2004, in Rogers, Arkansas. He was the son of Ansel H Smith and Jenifer Reams Smith. Ethan was serving with the Arkansas National Guard stationed at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his father, Ansel of the home; his mother, Jenifer; one brother, Caleb Smith; four sisters, Amanda (Jake) Hale, Katie Smith, Brandi Smith and Stephanie Smith; paternal grandparents, Henry and Renee Smith; maternal grandfather, Bob Reams; two nephews, Isaiah and Joseph; along with many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Terry Reams.

A visitation will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 11:00am to 1:00pm.

Funeral Service will be held following the visitation at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 1:00pm. Pastor Dwayne Driggers will officiate the service with burial being held at the Springtown Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, AR.
