Erika Rickie Jackson

Erika Rickie Jackson, 76, of Lowell, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at the Circle of Life Hospice Home in Springdale, Arkansas. 

Erika was born on May 9, 1941 in Yugoslavia, Germany, the daughter of John and Christine Trollman.  She retired as a computer operator at the Ozark Guidance Center in Springdale.  Erika was a proud homemaker and had a passion for animals. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Pete Jackson and her parents.

Erika is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Johnson and husband Ron of Goodman, Missouri; two step-children, David Jackson and Sandra Sneed and her husband Leroy all of California; four grandchildren, Amy Bersi and husband Austin of Springdale, Arkansas, Erin Benedict and husband Paul of Neosho, Missouri, Levi Cavender of Stella, Missouri and Joshua Cavender of Neosho, Missouri; five step-grandchildren, Chris Johnson and wife Rachel of Carthage, Missouri, Jessica Rickard of Sarcoxie, Missouri, Cayla Chapman and husband Jeremy of Pierce City, Missouri, Scott Sneed of Oregon and Richele Simpson of California; two great grandchildren, Boe Benedict and Allie Benedict; and 10 step-great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral will be held at the funeral home at 10:00am on Thursday, July 27, 2017 with Dr. Will Sharples to officiate the service.  Committal service will be private.
