Doris Sisk

Doris Charlene Sisk, 91, of Bentonville, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Monday, October 14, 2024 at her home.

Doris was born February 22, 1933 in Gentry, Arkansas to the late, James “Irv” and Velma Chenoweth. On June 7, 1974 in Wedington, Arkansas, she married her beloved husband, Ellis “Ace” Sisk. They shared many loving memories together until his passing in 2016. Throughout her life, she enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family. In her younger days, she played Bingo, went dancing, and tended to her flower garden. She loved her family deeply and found great joy spending time with them.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori Sisk of Bentonville, Arkansas; 5 siblings, Gary Chenoweth and wife, Eva of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Carol Lee Gallagher of Edmond, Oklahoma, Janie Cloe of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Jim Chenoweth of Baker City, Oregon, and Karen Radetsky and husband, Blake of San Antonio, Texas; 2 grandchildren, Dylan Morganflash and Austin Sisk; several nieces and nephews. 

Preceding her in passage is her parents, James “Irv” and Velma Chenoweth; husband, Ellis “Ace” Sisk; siblings, Nancy Joy Chenoweth, Bettie Lockhart, Margie Choate, Linda Bolin, and Michael Chenoweth.

The Visitation for Doris will be held at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Arkansas on Monday, October 21, 2024 from 11:00AM-1:30PM. The Graveside Service will follow at 2:00PM at Springtown Cemetery of Springtown, Arkansas with Brother Wayne Thomas officiating. Pallbearers will be Karen Radetsky, Lark Cloe, Leslie Priegel, Candy Wright, Crystal Wright-Pruitt, & Bobby Choate.
