Donald Ray Watkins

Donald Ray Watkins, age 85, of Springdale, AR, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024.

 Donald was born June 12, 1939 in Japton, Arkansas, the son of the late Benjamin Watkins and Pearl (Lee) Watkins.  

Donald proudly served in the United States Air Force. He worked as an accountant for Tyson Foods for many years, then owned and operated Watkins Stone Mason. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, fishing, camping, and anything outdoors. Donald was a member of the Robinson Avenue Church of Christ.  

Donald is survived by his loving wife Betty Sue; a son, Donald Glenn Watkins; a daughter Christina Ryan and husband Brian; a brother, Kenneth Watkins; grandchildren, Jeffery Ray-Lynn Watkins, Shana Watkins, Zachary Watkins and wife Amber, and Joseph Ryan and wife Megen; great grandchildren, Braelynne, Aubree Mae, Daisy, Lily, and Ainsley.  

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; Lolla Lavelle Watkins; a son Jeffery Watkins; brothers and sisters, Lita Bell, Verda Gwen, Betty Scott, Elton Watkins, Keith Watkins and Roland Watkins.
