Debbie Kay Gardisser

Debra Kay Gardisser, 69, of Colcord, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at her home.

Debbie was born February 11, 1954, to Owen Walter and Anna Bell Swepston, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She married Ronnie Gardisser on January 12, 1985, in Weddington, Arkansas. In her life, she worked at Franklin Electric, Gates Rubber, Lay-Z-Boy, and many other jobs that she dearly loved. Her favorite job though, was being a homemaker, tending to her garden and flowers. She will be dearly missed by her family, who remember her as a wonderful mother, caring and loving grandmother, and a dedicated wife. Her hobbies included fishing and gardening.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Gardisser, of the home; six sons, Johnny Martin and wife of Chickashaw, OK, Nathan Martin of Colcord, OK, Matthew Martin and wife of Gentry, AR, Chris Gardisser and wife of Keaton, OH, Travis Gardisser and wife of Tonitown, AR, and Michael Gardisser and wife of Lyons, GA; two brothers, Charles York and wife of Tahlequah, OK, and Ray Swepston of Texas; 22 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many more loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Cecil Swepston, Wade Swepston, Bobby York, Jimmy York, and Bill Price; three sisters, Eveanell Slover, Sue Trammel, and Georgia Ann Price; and one grandchild, Sierra Martin.

Visitation and Funeral will be held at Weddington Baptist Church on Saturday, April 29, 2023, with the Visitation starting at 1:00 P.M. and the Funeral Service starting at 2:00 P.M.  A Graveside Service will follow at the Weddington Cemetery.
