David Edwin Lillich, age 74, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025. He was born on November 2, 1950, to Jacob and Juanita (Mall) Lillich in Kansas City, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister and brother-in-law, Janis and Willard Rogers.
David was a devoted father to his four children: Dave, Toby, Jordan, and Joelle, and a loving grandfather who cherished his time with his grandchildren. He had a deep love for his family and was known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for those in need.
David was a lifelong follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for missions. He supported many Christian organizations both locally and around the world, making countless trips to various countries to share the good news of his Lord and Savior. Locally, he was a dedicated community member, always looking for ways to give back. He believed in the power of community and made a lasting impact with his involvement in various ways. Whether through volunteering, mentoring, or simply being a friend, David’s contributions were felt by many.
An avid outdoorsman, David found joy in the wilderness—whether camping, hiking, fishing, or simply enjoying nature. Additionally, David was a world traveler who explored many corners of the globe, gaining rich experiences that deepened his appreciation for different cultures and people. His adventures were something he cherished and loved to share with those around him. For 50 years, David was a successful construction businessman. His work ethic, vision, and attention to detail helped build a reputation of integrity and quality in the industry. His leadership and commitment to his craft were evident in the many projects he was involved in and the relationships he built throughout his career.
David’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will remember him as a warm, caring, humble individual whose life was filled with love, laughter, and kindness. He leaves behind a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his children: Dave and wife Erin of Denver, CO, Toby and wife Sheri of Pine River, MN, Jordan and wife Leah of Alexander, AR, and Joelle Feig and husband Brandon of Mira Loma, CA, his beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, the mother of his children Carleen Lillich of Mira Loma, CA and his brothers: Doug and wife Debbie of Alanje, Panama, Creed and wife Ann of Jay, OK, and many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of David’s life will be held on March 29 in Siloam Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kind at Heart Ministries (www.kindatheart.org) or The Voice of the Martyrs (www.persecution.com), two causes that David was personally involved in.
