Danilo Sabijon Labitad

Danilo Sabijon Labitad, a man whose heart was as expansive as his hands were hardworking, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2025, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas, at the age of 65.

Born on December 26, 1959, to Pascual R. and Esperanza (Sabijon) Labitad, Danilo’s life was defined by an unwavering devotion to his family and community. He was a man who gave selflessly, offering kindness and compassion to everyone he met. His commitment to providing for his family was evident in his relentless work ethic, always striving to create a better life for those he loved. Whether in his beautiful garden or through the bonds he nurtured, Danilo’s generosity shone brightly.

His greatest joy was in the time spent with his loved ones, especially with his beloved wife, Elisita Labitad, and their two cherished children, Dalian R. Labitad and Ehldane R. Labitad, along with his daughter-in-law, Rachael Labitad. His legacy of love also lives on in his two grandchildren, Laenee Labitad Lim and Theo Drake Labitad, who brought him immense pride. His 8 siblings—Gloria, Gregorio, Benjamin, Adelaida, Venerando, Anita, Amalia, and Elsie—hold dear the memories of his unwavering support and affection.

In addition to his parents, Pascual and Esperanza, Danilo was preceded in death by his dear sibling, Teofilo Labitad. Despite his passing, his legacy of kindness and giving remains alive in the hearts of those he touched.

A visitation to celebrate Danilo’s life will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. The Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Mary Catholic Church on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs.

As we say goodbye to this incredible man, we are reminded that his life was a testament to the beauty of giving, the warmth of kindness, and the enduring power of family. Danilo’s memory will continue to inspire all who knew him.
