Cufford Lanier Jordan

Cufford Lanier Jordan, 81, of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, June 08, 2017 at the Butterfield Trail Village in Fayetteville. 

C.L. was born on September 2, 1935, in St. Petersburg, Florida, a son of Alvin Jordan and Hattie Mable Jordan.  He served in the US Air Force and worked as an Aircraft Electronics Technician.  He also worked as a TCA cable technician.  He enjoyed flying, playing Santa Clause and being a conductor on the AR/MO Railroad Excursion Train.    

He was preceded in death by his parents.

C.L. is survived by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn Jordan of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two children, Jan Hutton and husband Harold of Van Buren, Arkansas and Lonnie Jordan and wife Georgina of Johnson, Arkansas; two grandsons, Andrew Jordan and wife Ashley of Tontitown, Arkansas and Jacob Hutton of Van Buren, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held 9:00am to 10:00am on Friday, June 23, 2017 at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale.  The Funeral service will begin that same day at 10:00am at the funeral home.  Pastor Don Elmore will officiate the service.  Graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Highland Cemetery in Ozark, Arkansas.  To sign the online guest book please visit www.backstrom-pyeatte.net
