Cleo Elaine Gilmore

Cleo Elaine Gilmore, 78, of Gentry, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Cleo was born November 11, 1944 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Arlo Scheffler and Lorena Sears-Scheffler. She graduated from Ozark Adventist Academy. On November 6, 1969, she married the love of her life, Alex Gilmore JR. She ministered to many prisoners to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. In her spare time at home, she would enjoy crocheting and watching Hallmark movies.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Alex Gilmore JR of the home; son, Anthony Gilmore and wife, Mayu of Lexington, Kentucky; 2 daughters, Shawn Swanson and husband, Robert of Noel, Missouri, and Brooke Hiebert and husband, Ryan of Gentry, Arkansas; 9 grandchildren, Aiden Gilmore, Matthew Gilmore, Kortni Park, Kimberli Park, Kristin Park, Kalleigha Park, David Hiebert, Samuel Hiebert, and Enoch Hiebert; great-granddaughter, Kira Park-Cousins; and many other loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Sheri Cates.

Cremation rites were chosen per Cleo’s wishes.
