Charlie Junior Baird

Charlie Junior Baird, age 64, of Siloam Springs, AR passed away on Friday, December 22, 2022 at the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. Junior was born on August 18, 1958 in Lapeer, MI, the son of the late Charlie Baird and Mazzie Henry Baird.

In 1979 in Springdale, AR., Junior married the love of his life Cathy South and she survives.

Junior owned and operated JR Baird Stone Works for many years, he loved hunting, fishing and was a hard worker providing for his family. Junior was known by his grandchildren and many others as “Bug”.

Junior is survived by his loving wife Cathy; sons, Gilbert Baird and Charlie Baird and wife Miranda; daughters, Charlene Phillips and significant other Marcella and Janice Travis and husband Dakota; a sister, Susie Blackwell and husband Steve; brothers, Eddie Baird and wife Becky and Roy Baird and wife Glenda; a sister in law, Judy Baird; 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Robert and Larry Baird and a sister Janice.

Friends may visit with the family at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel in Springdale from 6 - 8 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2022. Graveside services will be held at the McDaniel Cemetery on Cattle Drive, Rogers, AR (Lowell) at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 30, 2022 with Pastor Doug Irwin officiating.
