Charlene Wilson

Charlene Elissa Wilson, age 81, of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma passed away peacefully Friday, February 21, 2025 at the Quail Ridge Living Center.

Charlene was born April 25, 1943 to John DeMetri and Gloria Slocum in St. Albans, New York. She married her best friend, Loren Wilson and they shared over 50 years of countless memories together. Charlene and Loren would start a trucking company. She made many long hauls and enjoyed driving the semi-truck alongside with her husband. She kept their rig superb and some would say that they had the cleanest semi-truck around. She then would go onto start her incredible career in Real Estate for the state of California. Later in life, she took great pride in rescuing cats and forming a sanctuary for all the unwanted cats to rest, to live, to play and snuggle. Charlene loved her family and devoted her time to raising her kids and found joy in keeping a clean house. Her devotion to caring for others continued as long as she was able.  

She is survived by her beloved husband, Loren Wilson of the home; sister, Niki Dwyer and husband, Tom; her cherished sons, Aaron Wilson and wife, Sarah, Mikey Evans and wife, Melissa; grandchildren, Layne Campbell, Chandler Wilson, Gracie Wilson, Caitlyn, Shelby, Elizabeth, Anthony and Alexis; and numerous friends.

Preceding her in passage were her parents and her brother, Andy.

Per Charlene’s final wishes, cremation will take place.
