Carlos Giovanni Zeledon, 47, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at his home.
Carlos was born November 11, 1976 in Santa Ana, El Salvador to Hugo and Francisca Zeledon. After graduating high school he attended Pasadena City College and obtained his Associate Degree. On October 8, 2011, he married his soul mate, Stephanie. Throughout his life, he enjoyed playing his guitar, listening to music, cooking, and watching basketball. He had a helping heart, and from this he was very active and worked wherever he was called to be for the Siloam Springs School District. He was a man of God and had unwavering faith in God. He prayed for everyone and would always send text or say words of encouragement to his family and friends. Carlos was truly the kindest soul. His life centered around his family and every day he showed that he loved them more than anything. Carlos was like a dad to all of his nieces, nephews, students, and athletes, and he will be deeply missed by all.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Stephanie Zeledon of the home; son, Dawson Giovanni Zeledon and girlfriend, Emily Andrews of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; daughter, Lanie Brooke Zeledon and wife, Shianna Fowler of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; his parents, Hugo and Francisca Zeledon; brother, Hugo Nelson Zeledon of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; and many other loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hector Lorenzo Francia and Virginia Zeledon; and maternal grandparents, Rosario Alarcon and Rosa Ruben Hernandez.
The visitation will be held at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Arkansas on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
The funeral service will be held at New Life Church of Siloam Springs, Arkansas on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Bell Cemetery in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma. Pastor Tim Estes will officiate the service.
