Brenda Jo Madewell

Brenda Jo Madewell, 60, of Benton, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020 at the Arkansas Health Center in Benton.

Brenda Jo was born on June 24, 1959, in Springdale, Arkansas, a daughter of Glen Madewell and Polly Walls Madewell.   Brenda Jo was handicapped most of her life but was loved and cherished dearly by her family. She loved and always responded to her favorite, chocolate pudding.

She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Mary Main and husband Lawrence, of Springdale, Ava Franklin of Springdale, Alfred Madewell and wife Mary of Rogers, Nancy Dixon of Huntsville, and Danny Madewell and wife Kelley of Springdale; and a brother in law Turl Edens of Huntsville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Sharon Proud and husband Kenneth Proud, sister Glenda “Susie” Edens and her brother in law Wayne Franklin.

Visitation will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
