Billy Craft

Billy Lee Craft (BlueBeard), 78, of Gentry, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas

Billy was born June 27, 1945, in Hardy, Arkansas to parents Lee Lowe and Madeline (Taylor) Craft.  He was later raised by Lafie Craft. He married the love of his life, Sharon (LeRoy) Craft on November 9, 1964, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He was a retired truck driver, enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Craft, of the home, son Ricky Craft and wife Tresa of Siloam Springs, AR; daughter Stacy Harwood of Fayetteville, AR; two brothers, Ronnie Craft of Fredericktown, MO and Dale Craft of Ravenden Springs, AR; one sister, Linda Saylors of Ravenden, AR; four grandchildren, Britney Sumter of Siloam Springs, AR, Chris Craft and wife Whitney of Decatur, AR, Codi Harwood and wife Chesney of Pea Ridge, AR  and David Harwood and wife Alicia of Gentry, AR; and 9 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee Lowe and Madeline Craft and step father Lafie Craft; three brothers, Johnny Craft, David (Chubby) Craft and Dennis Lowe; and one sister, Susie Meadows.

He will be laid to rest in Allen Cemetery in Colcord, OK on May 11, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. in a graveside service.

Arrangements were entrusted to Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
