Betty J. McGarrah

Betty McGarrah, 80, of Cave Springs, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the Earlene Howard Hospice Home in Springdale, Arkansas.

Betty was born on November 22, 1937, in Qualls, Oklahoma, a daughter of Odie Denny and Edna (Hall) Denny.  She was a proud mother and grandmother. 

She was preceded in death by one brother, J.L. Denny.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Herman McGarrah of the home; her son, Bob McGarrah and wife Arlene of Lowell, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Carmen Anderson and husband Tony; one great granddaughter, Lauren Milligan all of Cave Springs, Arkansas; one brother, Harley Denny and wife Ann of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; a sister in-law, Peggy Denny of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; many brother in-laws, sister in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.  She was also blessed with many other relatives and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 3:00pm-5:00pm at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Chapel in Springdale.  The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Funeral Home. Pastor Dwayne Houston and Pastor Robert Anderson will officiate the service with burial following at the Elm Springs Cemetery.
