Betty Jo Kelley, 56, of Colcord, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Betty was born on September 25, 1964 in Wichita, Kansas, a daughter of John Vann and Olivia Tsatigh Vann. Betty was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, camping, fishing, singing karaoke, hunting mushrooms, working in her garden and spending time with family and friends especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother Olivia Vann of Chewey, Oklahoma; her love of 26 years, Tim Beck of the home; three sons, Phillip Thompson of Colcord, Oklahoma, Michael Kelley of Zena, Oklahoma, and Jonathan Kelley of Billings, Montana; two daughters, Melissa Maloy of Gentry, Arkansas and Natasha Kelley of Wichita, Kansas; three step children, Jessica Watkins of Gentry, Arkansas, Kristina Beck of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and Kevin Beck of Wisconsin; one brother, Tommy Vann of Chewey, Oklahoma; two sisters, Donna Vann and Renee Turtle both of Chewey, Oklahoma; and twenty three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Jerry Vann.
Visitation will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home on Friday, January 1, 2021 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
Graveside services will be held at the Dickson Cemetery in Cherokee City on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 1:00pm. Pastor Reece Calvert will officiate the service.
