Barbara Jean Filbeck

Barbara Jean Filbeck born May 16, 1931 in Little Rock, Arkansas passed away at her home in Siloam Springs.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Ret. Arkansas State Trooper, Vaughn T. Pickard and mother Hazel Pickard, both also from Little Rock and a great grandson from Forsyth, Georgia.

Barbara is survived by her five children; Charlean Wilson of Gravette, Charles Filbeck Jr. of Siloam Springs, Mary LaVaughn Gore and her husband Sam Gore Sr. of Forsyth, Georgia, Kathy Gail White and her husband Joe White of Washburn, Missouri and Timothy Filbeck and his wife Lisa Filbeck of Siloam Springs. Barbara was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Barbara spent her entire life serving God by helping others, especially her special needs son. She served more than 15 years as a volunteer dispatcher for the Lutz, Volunteer Fire Department in Lutz, Florida. She volunteered countless time at her home church and even serviced as a counselor for two Billy Graham Crusades. Everyone who knew Barbara knew of her love for God.  She always shared a friendly Christian word and prayer with everyone.

Barbara will be greatly missed by her family and friends as Heaven opened the door for a wonderful Angel. We will love you always and you will always be in our hearts.
