Arzela Marie Fletcher

Arzela Marie Fletcher, 95, of Colcord, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on April 1, 2024 at Quail Ridge Living Center in Colcord, Oklahoma.

Arzela was born December 4, 1928, in Mosely Prairie, Oklahoma to parents Lester and Elsie Ledford. In 1946, she married the love of her life, Freeman Fletcher, in Noel, Missouri. Freeman preceded her in death in 2013. In her life, she was a beloved member of Countryside Church in Colcord, Oklahoma, and she was a devout reader of her bible. She loved her family and enjoyed attending Colcord Senior Citizens.

She is survived by one daughter, Naomi Teafatiller-Sexauer and husband George of Siloam Springs, AR; three sons, Douglas Fletcher and wife Karen of Siloam Springs, AR, Onnie Lynn Fletcher and spouse Tim Pipkins of Houston, TX, and David Fletcher and wife Dana of Colcord, OK; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many other family members and loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Elsie Ledford; her husband Freeman Fletcher; one son, Scott Fletcher; two sisters, Nadine and Reba; and many more loved ones.

Pallbearers are Casey Fletcher, Douglas Leon Fletcher, Thomas Teafatiller, Kendall Funderburk, Ronnie Funderburk, Bryan Wright, John Pollard, and Brandon Funderburk.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Siloam Springs, AR.

The Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Chapel in Siloam Springs, AR.

Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery in West Siloam Springs, OK.
