Adella Elizabeth Capwell

Adella Elizabeth Capwell, 78, of Independence, Kansas passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at the St John’s Ascension Health Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Adella was born on December 17, 1942 in Neodesha, Kansas. She was the daughter of Charles Lee White and Emily Earnestine Studebaker Reynolds White. She was the widow of the late Larry Capwell whom she married on April 17, 1998 in Springdale. She worked various jobs including being a factory worker in food processing and being a waitress. She was of the Christian faith, having been saved in 1974 and recently rededicating her life, she attended the Old Fashion Baptist Church. Adella enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting and baking cakes.

She is survived by one son, Richard Charles Jones Jr of Branson, MO; five daughters, Donna Henderson of Oklahoma City, OK, Theresa Lyon of Independence, KS, Velvet Dunman of Springdale, AR, Lori Middleton of Kansas City, KS, and Kristie Jones of Independence, KS; one sister Rose Etta Weimer of Springdale, AR; 15 grandchildren and 17 plus great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at the Bluff Cemetery in Springdale on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 2:00pm.
